We're shutting down our devices and zooming out to see more of the outdoors while earning the Spring BreakOut Award! This FREE program is back for 2021 and open to all Scouts and their families across the nation. Since March 2020, more than 15,000 families from all 50 states and 5 countries have participated in HomeScouting adventures. Learn more about past HomeScouting Programs.

This Spring!
Week 1 Challenge: ZoomOut with your binoculars as you explore nature and discover signs of wildlife in your backyard, along the trail, or in your community
Week 2 Challenge: ZoomOut with your telescope and identify constellations in the night sky and learn about space exploration.
Week 3 Challenge: ZoomOut with your camera and plan a screen-free day with your family! Play yard games, board games, or go on a bike ride! Document the whole thing with your camera to create a keepsake.
Week 4 Challenge: ZoomOut to see how you can improve the planet. Grab a trash bag and take part in the International Scout's Trash the Trash Day!
Each week during the month of April, we will equip you with a weekly challenge to complete right here on HomeScouting.org. By completing each of the challenges each week, you will earn the Spring BreakOut Award. Weekly, all families will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the challenge as well as details on how you can earn the Spring BreakOut Award. You will also receive exclusive access to the April HomeScouting Adventure Club to help you earn advancements along the way!
